Maleny is at the south end of the Blackall Range in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. You can drive there, or travel by train and then bus or taxi from Landsborough Station. Landsborough is 14km from Maleny.
From the Brisbane area, travel north along the Bruce Highway. Take the Steve Irwin Way/Glasshouse Mountains Exit on the left (there is a big brown sign with Beerburrum, Maleny and Landsborough on it) until Landsborough. Cross the railway lines and drive through town and follow the signs for Maleny. When you get there, drive past the pub on your right, cross Obi Obi Creek to the roundabout. Turn left into Coral Street then next right into Bicentenary Lane. About 100 metres along you’ll see Finbar’s on your right and The Maleny Neighbourhood centre a little further on the left.
